Elton John, singer of famous hits such as Benny and the Jets and Rocket Man, is being sued by his former security guard for sexual harassment, sexual battery, and battery.

Jeffrey Wenniger, John’s former security guard and former sergeant with the LAPD, alleges that Elton John harassed him from 2002-2014, with an increase in frequency and intensity after 2010.

Some of the alleged harassment includes:

  • Elton John allegedly groped and touched Wenniger while in a car together.
  • Elton John allegedly said inappropriate things to Wenniger such as “Get your todger out,” “Say hello to Uncle Elton”, and “You have so many gay genes in you, they just haven’t met up yet.”

In addition, there were many other occasions that Elton John allegedly acted in a willful, wanton, malicious, and oppressive manner towards his security guard. As a result Wenniger suffered extreme pain and mental anguish. Wenniger is seeking unspecified damages for lost wages, medical costs, and emotional injuries.

Elton John, born Reginald Kenneth Dwight, denies the allegations and his defense team is calling the lawsuit “baseless”. Orin Snyder, one of John’s attorney’s claims that Wenniger is just a disgruntled employee, hoping to receive money.
